As you may know this week is Spring Break in our neck of the woods. For my two girls they stayed with their fathers. This is typical considering I am the non-custodial parent of them. Eric's (my s.o.) boys are here for their break. All three of them and of course I always have Logan. House full of four boys at one time. Talk about a momma/step-momma on stress overload. Unfortunately for my little man he does not get a spring break to enjoy. His "school" is of course year round. Bless his little heart he does not even get a summer break. This is my two year old I am speaking of. But this is okay in some ways because he should be getting his therapies that he needs.
(Speech, Occupational and physical)
Of course he is not receiving the recommended amount of time for these so I am going to let him take the rest of the week off and go to his dads for the rest of it until Sunday. Most parents welcome the break but I miss my little man terribly when he is not around. I wonder around aimlessly without him. Ugh I am to much of a helicopter parent I swear.
Now Eric's boys are 14, 12 and 10 and they will drive anyone up the wall. Finding chores for them all is almost impossible. I hate seeing kids in front of the t.v. all day or in front of a video game so we had planned on doing activities outdoors. This Arkansas weather may just put a stop to this. Snow is in the forecast!! Looks like we all will have a lot of movie time. Netflix will get a work out this Spring Break. So much for Spring when we are expecting snow. Kind of ironic.
