Spring Break For Who?

As you may know this week is Spring Break in our neck of the woods. For my two girls they stayed with their fathers. This is typical considering I am the non-custodial parent of them. Eric's (my s.o.) boys are here for their break. All three of them and of course I always have Logan. House full of four boys at one time. Talk about a momma/step-momma on stress overload. Unfortunately for my little man he does not get a spring break to enjoy. His "school" is of course year round. Bless his little heart he does not even get a summer break. This is my two year old I am speaking of. But this is okay in some ways because he should be getting his therapies that he needs.
(Speech, Occupational and physical)
Of course he is not receiving the recommended amount of time for these so I am going to let him take the rest of the week off and go to his dads for the rest of it until Sunday. Most parents welcome the break but I miss my little man terribly when he is not around. I wonder around aimlessly without him. Ugh I am to much of a helicopter parent I swear.
Now Eric's boys are 14, 12 and 10 and they will drive anyone up the wall. Finding chores for them all is almost impossible. I hate seeing kids in front of the t.v. all day or in front of a video game so we had planned on doing activities outdoors. This Arkansas weather may just put a stop to this. Snow is in the forecast!! Looks like we all will have a lot of movie time. Netflix will get a work out this Spring Break. So much for Spring when we are expecting snow. Kind of ironic.

Sad Sunday

Today has not been the best around here in our neck of the woods. Sad to say that my fiancee's sons dog passed away this afternoon. I have only been around the dog for 4 months but she was a sweet little thing.
Sean had, had her for almost two yeas so he is upset needless to say. We just don't know how to comfort him. He says he is fine but I know better. You can tell. Bless his heart. My fiancee plans on baking him some brownies and my plan is to start going to the animal shelter looking for him another companion. Maybe it will fill the void I know he must be feeling. Zuri after all needs a play mate. She lost a friend as well.

RIP little Sweetpea, you will be missed

New Beginnings

So I am starting over in more than one way.
Preliminary Autism diagnoses back in August of 2012 of my then 18 month old son Logan, separation from my husband and starting over with someone new. All these changes called for some changes to my old blog. It was first named Dreamweavers Wife but since we separated it was only correct to change my blogs name. Once I changed it things went hay wire. So this is now where I am. Starting over.

This blog will not only just focus on one subject but on many as they pop into my head and let me warn you, sometimes it can get pretty crazy in there. Mainly it will focus on our journey through learning how to deal with Logan's preliminary diagnoses. I say preliminary because he has not had an official one as of yet. I have to have him re evaluated soon, after he turns two for the official one.

So here is to a new life, a new beginning and a new blog!
